*Sunday, February 5^th we’ll be having Kidz 252 Worship in the MAC at 11:00am. It’s for children ages 2 years through 6^th grade. We have this special day once a month. Children are split up into age appropriate classes. They enjoy a Bible story, play games, make crafts and have refreshments. Luke 2:52 “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” We want the same for our children at BBC! Next Kidz 252 will be Sunday, March 4^th.

 

 

 

 

Big Game Party! The Youth Department is sponsoring a “Big Game Party” following the evening worship service on Sunday, February 5^th. (Our evening worship service will begin at 5:00pm.) Everyone is invited to come and enjoy this night of fun and fellowship! We look forward to a special time of devotion during halftime of the game. If you are coming and would like to bring a dessert or finger food please see Sandra Roberts or Karen Harris.

Hands of Praise – Please meet Wednesdays, February 8^th & 15^th at 6:00pm & Sunday, February 19^th at 5:00pm in the fellowship hall.

 

Team Kid Valentine’s Party! Children preschool thru 6^th grade are invited to come and enjoy a fun-filled night on Wednesday, February 8^th at 7:00pm in the MAC! We will be celebrating God’s amazing love!

CentriKid Camp 2012 - If you are interested in sending your child to CentriKid camp this summer, please pick up an informational brochure outside of Jeff's “old” office at the side entrance/choir room.  CentriKid camp is scheduled for June 11-15.  Children who will have completed grades 3-6 in May are eligible for camp.  Please see Jennifer Conner for additional information or if you are interested in being a chaperone. Sign- up sheet is posted at choir room entrance. Deadline to sign up and pay the $50.00 deposit is February 12^th!

Volleyball! Those that would like to play please meet Sunday, February 19^th in the MAC from 1:00 - 3:00pm.

Upward Awards Night! Thursday, March 1^st 6:30pm- 7:30pm. Jiggy will be here same as last year for our entertainment.

 

 

 

 

Movie Night! Please make plans to come and join us for “Movie Night” on Friday, February 10^th at 6:00pm here at the church. We will begin the evening by having chili and trimmings (pizza for kids), then watch the movie here at church. Those of you that are coming and have children and youth please feel free to bring them, they can eat with us and we will have special activities for them in the MAC while we watch the movie.

 

“COURAGEOUS” is from Sherwood Pictures, the moviemaking ministry of Sherwood Baptist Church in Georgia, other movies they have produced are “Facing the Giants” & Fireproof”. Moviegoers will find themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they are challenged and inspired by everyday heroes who long to be the kinds of men, dads, and families that make a lifelong impact on children, their families and communities.

Sr. Adult Breakfast! Please meet Saturday, February 11^th at 9:00am at Shoney’s in Lenoir City. Come join us and bring your Valentine! Cost $5.00. Those that are interested please sign up on the designated sheet in the foyer of the fellowship hall.

 

Medic Blood Drive: Monday, February 27th from 11:00am - 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Choir Practice on Sundays February 12^th , 19^th & 26^th at 5:00pm in the choir room.

                       

Can You Help? We need Wednesday night van drivers.

Our Children and Youth ministry is growing so much and we average around 100 – 130 children and youth every Wednesday! Praise God!

 

We only have 3 van drivers which is Lynn Black, Gary Norman and Jeff Harris who drive every Wednesday.

If you could help just once a month it would be great!

 

This is a wonderful ministry and God has blessed our van ministry so much through the years.
