What We Believe

What We Believe

We believe…

that the interchange between God’s Word and human need is the catalyst for transformation in the lives of individuals and the church. II Timothy 3:16-17John 8:31-32Colossians 3:16

that God wants what is best for us, and therefore we ought to live our lives in obedience to Him. Romans 8:28John 15:10

that there is a broken heart on every pew. Our worship, therefore seeks to bring people into a fresh encounter with a holy God where broken hearts can be healed. II Timothy 3:16Philippians 2:3-4

that there is only one way to be rightly related to God and that is through a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. We therefore seek to draw men, women, boys and girls into a personal relationship with Him. John 14:6Acts 4:12

that building relationships should permeate every aspect of the body life of the church. I Thessalonians 5:11 / I Thessalonians 5:15

The early church was all about relationships:

  • There was a relationship with the pastor through the preaching of the word.
  • There was a relationship with the people of the church through promoting the fellowship.
  • There was a relationship with the power of the church through praising the Lord.
  • There was a relationship with the purpose of the church through proclaiming the gospel.

that God loves unbelievers and there fore we are to love unbelievers and build bridges so that we might introduce them to our Lord.  John 3:16Matthew 9:36

Evangelism is the one thing we can do on earth that we can’t do in Heaven. It is only here and now that we can fulfill Christ’s mandate to reach lost people with the life changing message of the gospel.

that the most effective life change occurs in small groups. Such groups provide relationship, discipleship, and accountability. Luke 6:12-13Acts 2:44-47

There is nothing like the local church when the local church is working right! It transforms lives heart by heart…soul by soul….life by life. That’s why the most important thing we can do is to lay down our heart for the cause of Christ.

that God has called us to fulfill our ministry with us giving our very best to the Lord. Colossians 3:17Proverbs 27:17
