Jeremiah 9:23-24  —

I.  God desires that we know Him

1. Natural revelation
   (Hebrews 11:3)
2. Our conscience
   (Romans 1:19)
3. Jesus Christ
   (John 14:7-10)
4. The Bible

II.  What does it mean to know God?
Taking advantage of the privilege of knowing Him

1. Open up
2. Brokenness
3. Be interested in God

III. How can we know God?

• Receive Jesus Christ as Savior
• Be willing to accept His invitation
  (Matthew 11:28)
• We need to understand our problem
• We need to understand that God has provided for the forgiveness of sins
  (1 Peter 3:18)
  (John 1:12)
• Repent of our sins
• Place our faith in Jesus
  (Ephesians 2:8)
