Jeff served as bi-vocational Youth Minister from 1992-2008 when God called him into full time ministry as Director of Student Ministries in July 2008. In September 2009, he was blessed to step into the role as Worship Leader vacated by his father Bill Harris who had served as a volunteer in this position at Blairland for over forty years. Jeff is also an ordained deacon and is the Upward Sports Director. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pellissippi State in 1992 with an AS degree in Business Administration. He is a native of Loudon and has attended Blairland all of his life.  He was elected to the Loudon County Board of Education and served for eight years. He was also elected in 2012 to serve on the Loudon City Council where he served for 4  years. He was recently elected City Mayor of Loudon in 2018. He also serves on the Planning Commission, Committee of 100 BOD, as well as other local governing boards within the City of Loudon. He also serves as a Board Member on the Loudon Chamber of Commerce and CASA of the Tennessee Valley. He is an avid bike rider and runner who enjoys an active lifestyle and being outdoors. He and his wife Karen were married in June 1980 and have two children Blake and Kari. Their daughter Kari is married to Chad Presley and their son Blake was married in 2018 to Sara Bergeron and they are expecting their first child in May 2020. Jeff & Karen enjoy serving the Lord together and spending time with their grandchildren Jackson and Hallie Kate.
